About Us

The Epiphany Church is a fellowship of believers who uphold, emphasize and believe whole- heartedly in the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as the centre of its faith. We believe, without doubt, in the purpose of the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in the possibility of salvation from the spiritual consequences of our sins, only through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. We believe in eternal life on the coming of Jesus again. We know and believe that “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, Bible). The Church is part of the Lucknow Deanery of the Church of North India (CNI) and upholds the values of CNI and the vision of its Christian founders and forefathers.

The Epiphany Church is a united body of believers with the fundamental ministries of edifying the poor and rich alike, the weak and the strong, men and women, young and old with the teachings of Jesus Christ, worshipping our Creator in true love, and reaching out to the lost with the love and promises of our Saviour.

The Church remembers its sacred relationship with Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church. We persevere to uphold our identity as the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27), the People of God (1 Peter 2:9-10) and the Bride of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2; Revelation 19:7; 21:9- 10).

The Church is determined to consistently discharge its duty of building up and nurturing its members with Bible studies, Prayer meetings and Fellowship, which are a regular part of its Annual Calendar. We have three separate ministries –

  • The Sunday School to introduce little children to the love and mercy of God and lay the foundation of Christian values in their lives
  • The Epiphany Church Youth to nurture young minds in the fundamental Biblical truths about reality, spiritual values and lessons from Biblical events in the right context.
  • The Women's Fellowship for Christian Service (WFCS) to uphold and edify women, making them a strong pillar of strength for the church and their families in times of need.

The Church is also committed to helping the poor and needy, the downtrodden and the broken-hearted with the compassion we receive from Jesus. We have the responsibility to alleviate the sufferings of the poor in ways that are pleasing to the Lord.

There are times when the Church faces challenges and struggles, but the people of Christ have a responsibility to honourably stand together for each other and for the name of Christ.

Mission

The Epiphany Church aims at transforming lives through Biblical teaching, preaching and service to all who come within its fold, embracing the sacrifice, resurrection, and the promise of the coming again of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and following the example of love and mercy that Christ set before us in transcending all boundaries of class, gender, age and wealth to reach out to God’s children, constantly restoring and strengthening true Christian faith.

Vision

The vision of the Epiphany Church is to be an ever-flowing stream of love and compassion, restoring all who come to its banks, to refresh and revive their souls with the promise of forgiveness and salvation, which comes from the only one and true God, Jesus Christ.
